Copyright, Trademark & Takedowns

HexBid is a novelty map game whose listings are submitted by users: each brand name, icon, and link on the map was placed by whoever paid for that cell. HexBid does not create or endorse those listings. We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same — the Terms require that you own or are authorized to use everything you submit. If a listing infringes your copyright or trademark, or impersonates you or your brand, tell us and we’ll act.

How to report a listing

Email dogoq.business@gmail.com with the subject “Takedown request” and include:

1. The work, mark, or identity at issue, and your rights in it (e.g. the copyrighted work, the registered or unregistered trademark, or the person/brand being impersonated).
2. The specific listing — the cell’s location or ID, the brand name shown, and the link/logo — enough for us to find it.
3. Your name, organization, and contact details.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder’s behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

(Items 4–6 mirror the requirements of a valid notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3).)

What happens next

• We aim to review complete requests promptly and will remove or disable access to a listing we determine, in good faith, to be infringing or impersonating.
• Because listings are user-submitted and paid, removal may be accompanied by a refund decision under the Terms; a removed brand may be blocked from re-listing.
• We may forward your notice (including your contact details) to the person who submitted the listing, so they can respond or file a counter-notice.

Counter-notice

If your listing was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, email us a counter-notice with: identification of the removed listing, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts (and, where required, acceptance of service). We may restore the listing if the original complainant does not pursue the matter within the period the law allows.

Repeat infringers

We block, and refuse further listings from, users and brands that repeatedly submit infringing, impersonating, or otherwise violating content.

Trademark & impersonation

Displaying a logo on a cell reflects a paid bid by a user and implies no endorsement, affiliation, or relationship with HexBid (see the Terms). Using a name or logo you are not authorized to use, or posing as a brand or person you don’t represent, is not allowed — report it the same way as above and we’ll remove it.
